Florence Sydney is an award-winning dietitian, researcher, and cookbook author with over 24 years of experience in the field of nutrition. She graduated with a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Dietetics and Human Nutrition from McGill University in 2002. She is a member of the Ordre des diététistes-nutritionnistes du Québec (ODNQ) and the Canadian Nutrition Society. She holds the professional titles RD and Dt.P, which are equivalent credentials in English and French.

Her research on caloric expenditure in individuals living with spinal cord injury was published in the Canadian Journal of Dietetic Research and Practice.

She is the author of 3 ingrédients = 1 repas, published by Les Éditions La Semaine. She is the producer and host of the cooking show Mixe-Moi Ça, broadcast nationwide on ICI Télévision.

Florence Sydney’s primary areas of expertise include nutrition for women’s health, with a focus on fertility, pregnancy, perimenopause, and menopause. She also specializes in the management of metabolic syndrome and related conditions in adults, including diabetes, dyslipidemia, hypertension, obesity, fatty liver disease, and weight management.

Her practice is dedicated to supporting adult patients seeking evidence-based nutritional guidance tailored to their individual health goals. She does not see children or adolescents, nor does she manage cases involving allergy desensitization, acute or chronic renal failure, or inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis.
